A UNIQUE SHOWCASE FOR GROWING AND AMBITIOUS BUSINESSES

WHO WE ARE

Carolyn Maniukiewicz has over 30 years of experience in marketing having worked for all the leading research companies such as Ipsos MORI, Martin Hamblin and Systems 3. Carolyn worked for the Scottish Enterprise Network for over 7 years, latterly as Head of Entrepreneurship for Scottish Enterprise Grampian, during this time she was also seconded to Scottish Enterprise National. In 2005 a separate company – Enterprise Partnership Scotland – was formed with Carolyn as one of the Directors to run a programme for High Growth Companies. This can be seen as a leadership programme and sponsorship is currently received from Stronachs, Johnston Carmichael, Hamptons and Barclays. The company has to date worked with 120 companies with turnovers of £500,000 to £18 million.

The company has organised many corporate events across Scotland including West Lothian Business Showcase and Dundee Discover Work Jobs fair. The company had a contract to deliver the Scottish Enterprise Mentoring Programme on behalf of the Scottish Chamber of Commerce, until the end of the project in July 2019. The company successfully matched businesses, in Aberdeen City and Shire, Forth Valley, West Lothian, Fife and Edinburgh.

The company also works with a great many rural businesses, helping them with all aspects of their business development. Carolyn, whilst still at Scottish Enterprise, set up a networking group called Aberdeen Entrepreneurs. Aberdeen Entrepreneurs offers a working environment for business individuals from the smallest company to large blue chip companies to come and meet new people, network and gain business opportunities with like-minded people.

We have also developed a bespoke programme called “Be All You Can Be” which helps businesses and individuals reach their potential by increasing their confidence and their attitude towards success.

WHO IS THE AUDIENCE?

We are targeting any Business owners and representatives from SME’s to Blue Chip Companies. These will be predominantly from Aberdeen City and Shire but we will be marketing widely to attract businesses who may be looking to do business in this area or who are looking to set up in this area. We are particularly targeting business who are ambitious and looking for growth.

WHO SHOULD COME

The whole idea of the event is to recognise and support all business sectors in the Aberdeen City and Shire areas.

We are particularly looking for ambitious and growth companies as through market research we have noticed there is a gap in the market for this sector. We are hoping that this is the first exhibition in Aberdeen that will be truly representative of all the local business sectors.
